NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER FOR WOMEN’S FITNESS LINE
What You Will Be Doing:
The ideal candidate is self motivated, with a high energy level that will take the initiative to
research, make decisions, follow through and accomplish multiple tasks with a sense of vision,
detail, commitment and sense of urgency.
As a National Account Manager, you will report directly to VP, Sales and be responsible for
setting specific, measurable, attainable and compatible annual goals for each account including,
but not limited to:
- Increasing sales volume & profitability growth through product distribution
- Aggressively researching & penetrating key accounts not yet serviced
- Expanding in-store shelf presentation
- Managing inventory through precise forecasting
- Establishing, managing and maintaining ‘key’ business relationships
- Effectively communicating information to all applicable parties (internally & externally)
- Completing competitive store checks
- Assisting current accounts with developing merchandising / POP display options
- Conducting training sessions with retail personnel on our products
- Attending trade shows and other events including set-up and working the booth
- Developing effective marketing/merchandising programs by account to help drive the
business
- Being an expert on all aspects of Fitness EM’s products as well as our competitor’s
- Being an expert on all intricacies of the account
- Communicating critical information between all levels of both parties
- Utilizing all tools available to maximize sales growth at acceptable profit levels for both
the account and Fitness EM
- Creating and managing annual forecast by month
- Working through others (rep groups) to accomplish objectives
- Negotiating win–win results for both the account and Fitness EM
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who has a basic understanding of the women’s health and fitness
market but who, more importantly, has a proven track record of success in professional outside
sales of CPGs and possesses the following experience:
- BS / BA or equivalent work experience
- MUST HAVE minimum of 3-5 years successful CPG sales experience with retailers/re-
sellers of CPGs (sports & fitness related preferred)
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Personally involved in fitness and understanding the benefits a huge plus
- Experience working in an early-stage growth company preferred
- Experience with International Distributors a solid plus

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO SALES DEPARTMENT
Fitness EM, a leader in the women's health & fitness industry, designs, manufactures and markets specialty fitness equipment and accessories.
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our Sales Department to support all aspects of a high-energy / high-demand division. We're paving the way in an explosive industry and are looking for a team player to share in our success. This position will report to the Manager, Sales Development and support 3 out-of-office sales execs requiring up-to-the-minute sales data, administrative support and an overall link to the home office.
Our environment is extremely fast-paced and ever-changing requiring an experienced, exceptionally organized individual capable of starting one task, immediately switching to another and finishing the first quickly, yet accurately, all while being interrupted at least 20 times with questions, requests, etc. A positive, can-do attitude is imperative with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. We are a highly motivated group who work hard, yet enjoy what we do and have a good time doing it. Must be experienced with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and extremely proficient and skilled with Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate data, write custom formulas and generate graphs.
Job Responsibilities:
Goals/Objectives for Year 1:
- Establish physical and electronic 'binders' for all major accounts (approximately 15) to include all contracts, presentations, correspondence, price lists, insurance requirements & certificates, etc. Will work with all departments to gather and organize information and create physical binder as well as folder on shared directory for all to access.
- Spearhead customer pricing procedure to include process for working with finance to request & acquire special pricing needs, create customized price lists, support sales team during negations, verify final pricing and distribute to all appropriate departments.
- Work with outside vendor to learn and manage software to track customer data of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Create and manage sales calendar to schedule and track all appointments and corresponding needs such as pricing, sales samples, etc. allowing enough lead-time to meet external departmental as well as sales needs.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Prepare, proof, edit, print and assemble all PowerPoint sales presentations, data and other sales pieces
- Work closely with finance department creating and properly distributing pricing materials
- Manage inventory of all sales samples – organize incoming sales samples distributing and coordinating with presentations as necessary
- Create, track and review monthly sales reports utilizing Excel – ability to manipulate data, generate graphs and insert appropriate formulas is crucial! Familiarity with pivot tables a plus!
- Analyze and interpret data with ability to anticipate needs and questions
- Maintain Retailer Operations Agreements, track and retrieve any missing/delinquent documentation
- Assist/manage smaller accounts – preparing special needs when necessary
- Work with customer service and front desk to handle incoming calls as required

Job Requirements:
- BS or BA preferred
- MUST HAVE minimum of 3-5 years prior experience in assisting executive-level sales and/or marketing professional
- Exceptional PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, specializing in Excel
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience a huge plus!
- Ability to coordinate/prioritize multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills required for completing multiple and/or simultaneous tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines
- Self starter capable of operating with little supervision and the ability to escalate appropriately
- Strong oral/written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
