Eating on the Run
March 31, 2006

If you’re constantly traveling or just on the go, then you know how difficult it can be to eat right. The good news is there are simple adjustments you can make to survive life on the run and stay healthy. Drinking lots of water, even when you aren’t thirsty will help you avoid dehydration and minimize jetlag. Before starting off your day of traveling eat a well balanced breakfast to give you energy. Selecting nutrient dense foods will fuel your body and leave you less tempted to eat junk food during the day. The best way to ensure that you have healthy food available to you is to pack a “survival kit” with raw vegetables and fruit, nuts and seeds or meal replacement bars. These are a healthy snack alternative to chips and candy at the airport or convenience stores.
Strength training with our empower equipment helps your body burn more calories all day long - therefore you can eat more food without gaining weight!
