Water Exercise

With the summer heat, the perfect place to be is in the water. Exercising in the water can be a wonderful workout, it is easy on the joints, helps to keep you cool, and can still be incredibly challenging. Swimming is the perfect total body exercise solution. Even if you are not a strong swimmer you can benefit from the movement. Begin by swimming a few laps at a time and gradually increase the number of laps as you become stronger. Simply holding onto a kick board and kicking across the pool is excellent for the lower body. B/c there is virtually no impact it is a wonderful option if you have joint pain or simply want to give your joints a rest but still burn calories
